Exciting 2nd shift Plant Operator development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care
Contract: 24 months extension/conversion potential

Schedule: Training on day shift for several weeks, then transition to night shift (Thurs-Mon, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM; Tues-Wed off).
Flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts to cover PTO or sick leave.
Entry-level Utility Plant Operator responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing plant utilities to ensure reliable system performance.
Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, steam systems, and water treatment systems
Monitor building automation systems and respond to alarms per SOP/GxP procedures
Perform preventive maintenance (Maximo PMs) and corrective repairs
Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance and operations documentation
Follow all safety protocols and support team operations
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or trade school
Strong computer skills (Windows/BAS systems)
Background in a related trade such as electrical, plumbing, pipefitting/welding, boiler or power plant operations
