Engineering Intern-Bonduel

KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments is seeking to fill an Engineering Internship position in our Bonduel manufacturing plant. This position will start in May 2026 and go through August 2026. This is a first shift position.

Main Responsibilities include the following:

Learn and understand KI Engineering principals and position scope

The main goal for this position is to support the Engineering group activities through our busiest time of the year

Projects will require proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel as well as learning new programs

Multi-tasking several different projects to keep completion dates attainable

Communicating effectively with the Engineers, Process Managers, and Cell Technicians

Supporting the department with innovation, problem solving and continuing improvement activities

Report out to management regarding one or more projects completed at the end of the term

Assist on the production floor as needed.

Qualified candidates should be enrolled in an Engineering or related program. Ideally this position is for a student who has at least completed the first two years of the program. In addition to this, the qualified candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, organization skills as well as being a strategic thinker.
