Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

Registered Technologist (R.T.) credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required

State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in California required

Advanced CT Certification preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Venipuncture IV certification required for the facility

Fluoroscopy license preferred

Role Responsibilities:

Operate CT equipment and perform general radiography and fluoroscopic imaging procedures

Assess and care for patients aged from adolescence to geriatric

Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review

Ensure accurate transfer of images via PACS and teleradiology systems

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inventory management

Document thorough patient records and billing information
