Mechanical Project Engineer (Antwerpen area)

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Medior Mechanical Engineer to join its team.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer at Vulcain Engineering Belgium, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and technical follow-up of equipment and industrial installations in energy, nuclear, or general industry. You will be involved in all phases of a project, with responsibilities growing according to your skills and interests.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Conduct mechanical studies: design, sizing, material selection

Prepare technical drawings and schematics (piping, HVAC, structures, equipment)

Perform stress and mechanical strength calculations

Support technical follow-up in workshop and on-site (fabrication, assembly, testing)

Collaborate with other disciplines (electrical, process, civil)

Begin taking responsibility for specific packages or sub-projects under supervision

ABOUT YOU:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering

3 to 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with proven experience in industrial projects or design offices

Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDMS, or equivalent

Analytical mindset, rigor, growing autonomy, and team spirit

Willingness to work from project sites
