School Speech Language Pathologist - Gonzales, Texas

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services at a middle school in Gonzales, TX. This role offers direct therapy services, progress monitoring, and consultative support to students in grades 5 through 8. The position is part-time, with an expected schedule of 10 hours per week, ideally on Tuesdays, though flexibility is possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to middle school students

Monitor and document student progress consistently

Provide consultation to staff and support teams as needed

Manage caseload focused on 5th to 8th graders

No ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meeting involvement required

Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC credential

Experience working with school-age populations, preferably middle school students

Ability to provide focused, individualized therapy plans

Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families

Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate school and student needs
