This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a K-12 school setting. The role offers a contract position during the current school year with a full-time weekly schedule.
Location: Paynesville, MN
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
SLP hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM
SLPA position serves multiple buildings, covering both elementary and secondary schools
Qualifications:
Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC preferred)
Experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP candidates
Relevant SLPA licensure or certification if applying for the assistant role
Ability to work effectively across multiple buildings (SLPA role)
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessment and screening of speech, language, and communication skills
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings
