A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an onsite elementary school serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade in Washington, DC. This contract role is ideal for a licensed SLP seeking to provide comprehensive speech and language services in a school setting, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse group of students. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). This role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, tracking student progress, and participating in team meetings to support student success.
Ideal candidates will have experience working in schools, with qualifications such as Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders. Experience in teletherapy is a plus but not required, as this role is onsite. Candidates at the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) level are welcome to apply.
