About the role:

As a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer you will report to the ANAV Supervisor Engineer and be located at the Vila-seca, Tarragona offices. This is a full-time hybrid position with a mix of 70% on-site and 30% remote days that may be set at your discretion.

Responsibilities:

Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design

Develop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications

Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions for assigned projects and tasks.

Support engineering staff in multiple design and analysis activities.

Coordinate with other disciplines, including I&C, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout, across diverse projects and design changes.

Communicate progress, technical challenges, and result to the technical lead and project management.

Collaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations teams, representing the discipline both internally and externally.

Participate in customer, vendor, and regulatory meetings, presenting technical material and explaining design decisions.

Complete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear).

We value a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering.

10+ years of experience in similar role

Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW

Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standards

Fluent in Spanish and English

Ability to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites (international travel included)
