Located in Habersham, GA, this full-time, school-based position requires an experienced speech-language pathologist to provide direct therapy services in a public school setting. This role focuses on supporting students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms, grades K-5.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech therapy to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe/profound impairments
Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Monitor and document student progress
Manage Medicaid billing in accordance with regulations
Qualifications:
Current, active Georgia SLP licensure
Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
Certified Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
Experience working in school-based settings preferred
Comfort working onsite in a school environment (onsite only; role replaces a VOCO candidate)
Position Details:
Location: Habersham, GA
Schedule: Full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week, with consideration for part-time applicants
Contract term: Immediate start through end of the current school year and extended into the 2025-2026 school year
