A K-12 school in Cedartown, GA, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing essential speech and language services to support student communication and academic success.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress.
Participate in meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and review.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
