A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available for those passionate about supporting pediatric clients in school-based settings in Clarksville, Arkansas. This contract role offers an opportunity to assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a variety of clinical and educational responsibilities, helping students achieve communication goals within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist SLPs in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning
Support administration of speech and language evaluations and ongoing assessments
Deliver direct therapeutic interventions under supervision
Complete accurate documentation and report writing to track student progress
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with pediatrics and school-based speech language pathology preferred but not required
Current or pending Arkansas SLPA license, or eligibility to apply
Understanding of speech-language therapy standards in educational settings
Strong communication and organizational skills for managing IEPs and documentation
Commitment to working full-time; part-time options may be possible depending on district needs
