A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Forks, WA. This contract role spans a full school year and requires in-person availability. The position focuses primarily on working with preschool and elementary students, with occasional support for middle and high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Develop individualized treatment plans to support student progress.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to implement effective speech-language interventions.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
Experience working with preschool and elementary age groups, with flexibility to work with older students as needed.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
