A skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatrics, school settings, teletherapy, or healthcare is sought for a travel opportunity serving schools in Waller, TX. Location: Waller, Texas (Travel Assignment)
Work Setting: School-based
Work Schedule: Full-time or part-time (on-site preferred)
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
Prior school-based experience preferred
Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
Solid knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, and multidisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPAs, and occupational therapists
Monitor progress and provide detailed reporting on student improvements
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation consistent with professional standards
