Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Placerville, CA

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in multiple locations throughout El Dorado County, California, serving students from PreK through adult transition programs. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse range of educational settings within the district, covering much of the county including areas such as El Dorado Hills and Camino.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language pathology services to students with mild to moderate, and occasionally severe, communication needs.

Support an itinerant caseload, traveling between multiple school sites as assigned throughout the school year.

Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), ensuring appropriate onsite support.

Utilize expertise in California schools and SEIS systems to meet district requirements and student needs.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid California SLP license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Experience working within school settings preferred.

Comfortable with traveling between multiple locations, including areas up to 90 minutes away such as Lake Tahoe and Sacramento.

Ability to adapt to changing assignments and flexible schedules in an itinerant role.

Commitment to onsite work as this is not a remote position.

Location: Various schools across El Dorado County, CA, with travel required between sites.
