This opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) looking to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. Several positions are available within a school district in Huntsville, AL, offering a contract role running through the upcoming school year. This role is ideal for licensed SLPs with credentials suitable for school settings, including the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions
Participate in team meetings and assist with developing intervention strategies
Qualifications:
Valid SLP licensure appropriate for school-based practice
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Experience in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
Ability to manage a caseload effectively while working collaboratively
Strong communication and organizational skills
