Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity - K-12 School Setting

A growing K-12 school district in Decatur, AL, is seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services to students. This contract position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the academic success and communication development of children across all grade levels. The role requires licensed SLP professionals with certification and experience in school settings.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience working as a speech-language pathologist within schools, ideally K-12

Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and treatment of speech and language disorders in pediatric populations

Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development in an educational environment

Position Details:

Contract position for the 2023-2026 school years, with a duration extending through May 22, 2026

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language impairments for K-12 students
