Position Overview
Position is primarily responsible for the daily set-up and operation of CNC lasers, punch presses, press brakes, roller benders, glass cutting & finishing machines, etc. Ensure consistent high-quality operation of equipment as prescribed by the company, and compliance with manufacturing and standard operating procedures.
Essential Job Functions
Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
Ensure daily & weekly operator preventative maintenance is completed on machine.
Establish, maintain and manage standard operating procedures, ensuring machine is being utilized according to safety, quality and production requirements.
Recommends procedure improvements to managers.
Train others as backfill, ensuring same level of quality operation
Perform quality inspections while maintaining the production process so that output is achieved, ensuring sufficient parts are produced to fulfill work requirements.
Expedite priority work orders as required in cooperation with the Production Supervisor.
Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system.Requirements:
Physical Demands
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs.; anything over 50 lbs. is to be assisted.
Be on your feet 8-10 hours per day.
Preferred Education and Experience
Prior relevant experience operating machines
Mechanical experience and aptitude
Operator maintenance experience
CNC experience
Detail and task-oriented – able to troubleshoot and follow through with preventative maintenance tasks consistently.
Punctual.
Ability to work well with others with minimal supervision.
Computer literate.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Have a sense of urgency while maintaining a positive attitude.
Mathematical aptitude.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
