Your Responsibilities
As a Customer Solutions Architect (CSA), you will serve as a vital technical leader, engaging directly with customers to enrich their Teradata experience. This position requires a unique combination of technical expertise in data architecture, analytics, and cloud platforms, paired with strong relationship management skills to enhance platform usage and stimulate growth.
Customer Advocacy and Relationship Management
Forge and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders, from technical teams to executive sponsors.
Act as a proactive advocate, delivering solutions that maintain and enhance account health.
Effectively communicate customer insights and challenges to inform product development.
Demonstrate the value of Teradata solutions through ongoing engagement and success strategies.
Promoting Adoption and Innovation
Promote the use of Teradata by highlighting unique features and underutilized functions.
Educate clients about industry trends, benchmarks, and new capabilities through dynamic sessions.
Develop customized technical resources and hands-on workshops that cater to customer needs.
Collaborate with clients to identify new use cases that align with their long-term objectives.
Driving Technical Opportunities
Lead technical discussions and craft effective solutions to drive growth and increase account revenue.
Create a customized 'Technical Vision for Success' for every account, detailing current and future architecture.
Ensure technical readiness and properly align cloud setups.
Support quoting, ordering, and proposal development while facilitating internal and customer communication.
Conduct demonstrations, benchmarks, and proofs of concept to mitigate risks and advance opportunities.
Technical Leadership and Implementation
Exhibit your technical leadership and proactive approach to build credibility with clients.
Guide customer architecture to integrate Teradata Vantage into their data strategies.
Ensure alignment of technical initiatives with account strategy and customer goals for sustained growth.
Stay updated with Teradata's offerings and emerging technologies to effectively engage with customers.
Collaboration
Teamed with Account Executives and the account team to strategize and identify new opportunities.
Engage with various customer stakeholders, including DBAs, data architects, and C-level executives.
Partner with Consulting Services to design and implement solutions effectively.
Coordinate with Customer Services for ongoing alignment and successful outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams for proposal shaping and pricing strategies.
Work with product and technical experts to provide specialized support during customer interactions.
Drive the adoption of Teradata solutions throughout sales, technical, and delivery teams.
Qualifications
A strong passion for data and analytics, particularly in the areas of AI and ML.
Experience advocating analytic solutions in either pre-sales or delivery roles within large enterprises.
Proficient with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Familiarity with the competitive landscape and an understanding of Teradata's unique advantages.
A proven ability to comprehend customer needs and build trust across different organizational levels.
Adept at managing multiple priorities across various customer accounts.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, management information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
