Position Overview
Join Avik Services LLC, a leader in partnering with top e-commerce and logistics companies to provide cutting-edge warehouse technology. We are looking for a Lead Millwright Installation Specialist to bring your expertise to our dynamic team. In this exciting, hands-on role, you will lead small teams in the installation and deployment of innovative communication and warehouse technologies. Expect to travel extensively across North America to various customer distribution sites, with all travel expenses fully reimbursed. Key Responsibilities & Required Qualifications
Be a self-starter who thrives on managing multiple tasks and is eager to enhance your skills to improve future installations.
Quickly read and understand installation documentation to replicate tasks accurately while guiding your team.
Communicate effectively within your team and directly with clients.
Bring background experience in construction, warehousing, or equipment installation.
Demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools for mechanical systems installation.
Work independently with great attention to detail to execute installation tasks.
Lead teams of 3-4 members during on-site hardware installations.
Travel regularly (up to two weeks at a time) to client warehouse/distribution sites, with the opportunity to return home every two weeks.
Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed in warehouse environments.
Manage travel bookings using Concur and submit expense reports promptly.
Pass a background check (no felony convictions in the last 7 years) and maintain a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Forklift, Aerial lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.
Experience with technical or CAD drawings is highly beneficial.
