Job Summary - We are seeking an experienced baker to work the AM shift at Littletons Market Bakery, located in the historic North Market. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in a professional baking role (commercial experience preferred). The AM Baker will be an essential part of the bakery team and must be comfortable working with others in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Morning shift (4 am arrival) baking, including breads, scones and decorating pastries

Able to function independently in a collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

Experience in a high-volume production bakery or kitchen

Ability to follow written instructions and read complex recipes

Ability to work independently and make quick decisions

Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change

Familiarity with piping and decorating pastries

Strong baker's intuition (know when something is "done")

Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment

A positive attitude, even under stress

Willingness to work as part of a team

Ability to withstand extreme temperatures for short periods of time

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 lbs.

Ability to stand continuously for 8-10 hours

Willingness to work in close proximity to others

Must be available to work five 8-hour shifts per week, Thursday-Monday non-negotiable. Work hours will be from 4 a.m.-12 p.m. Sunday and Monday, and 5:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
