AWS Engineer

We are looking for a senior AWS/EKS engineer to support our AWS infrastructure and critical Digital/mobile application. This role will focus on:

• AWS cloud deployments, operations, and automation

• Managing and supporting EKS/Kubernetes workloads (and other AWS services)

• Ensuring reliability, resiliency, and performance of Digital application services

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ALB/NLB, Secrets Manager etc.)

• Experience managing and supporting EKS / Kubernetes clusters in production

• Strong understanding of TLS certificates (proficient with OpenSSL commands)

• Hands-on experience working with postgresql or equivalent object-relational database

• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments

• Strong Linux systems administration skills (performance tuning, troubleshooting, automation)

• Networking fundamentals, including ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues (DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers, certificates)

• Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills, with the ability to work with senior leaders/clients and clearly articulate issues and solutions

• Experience supporting production application environments, including incident response and root cause analysis

• Willingness to work and support a 24x7 environment, including participation in on-call rotations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- elastic search or pulsar

- experience setting up and coordinating disaster recovery environments and testing

- any AWS certifications
