In the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department), we aim to build a world class safety culture and ensure full compliance with Michelin’s global standards while continuously reducing workplace risks for all employees and contractors.
MISSION:
In the domain of ergonomics,
Assist the HSE in managing the domain on the site.
Be responsible for the implementation, proper application and effectiveness of System Management Environment & Risk Prevention (SMEP) in the domain on the site.
Be the technical reference for the domain on the site.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required:
Obtained a degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, Physiotherapy, or a related engineering field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ergonomics, human factors engineering, or workplace risk assessment within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Proficiency in ergonomic assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., RULA, REBA, NIOSH Lifting Equation, Job Safety Analysis).
Experience in conducting workplace ergonomic risk assessments, job analysis, and developing improvement action plans.
Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset aligned with Michelin’s value of Respect for Facts.
Preferred:
Certification in ergonomics or occupational health (e.g., Certified Professional Ergonomist, AK3 Umum).
Experience in workstation design, manual handling improvement, industrial layout optimization, or automation projects.
Familiarity with occupational health programs, musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) prevention initiatives, and collaboration with HSE or medical teams.
Experience supporting continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, or similar initiatives).
