Job Description:
The Omotenashi Manager is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations and leading the team at our Torrance location. This role ensures efficient service, maintains operational standards and creates a welcoming guest experience.
This position requires strong leadership skills, operational awareness and a genuine commitment to hospitality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service execution
• Lead, coach and mentor supervisors and team members
• Coordinate staff scheduling and shift management
• Maintain high standards for food quality, safety and cleanliness
• Monitor POS systems, sales performance and reporting
• Ensure efficient service during high-volume periods
• Deliver guest-focused hospitality aligned with the principles of omotenashi
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
• Experience in fast-casual, café or hospitality environments preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant reporting tools
• Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
