Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Android development and a solid understanding of agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop test-driven mobile application features following Agile software development methodology

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and Kotlin

Utilize modern Android architecture components, including Android Jetpack

Implement reactive programming using RxJava

Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit

Ensure adherence to industry coding standards and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UX/UI, and backend developers Required Skills

6+ years of hands-on Android development experience

Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin

Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.)

Experience with RxJava and Retrofit

Strong understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
