IATESTA STUDIO is a young, fast-growing, designer and manufacturer of custom high-end furniture and lighting. We are seeking a candidate who excels when working with a team.
This position is ideal for a creative and organized professional who has outstanding administrative skills and wants a stable, long-term position with a small firm. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administrative Support: Provide team members with clerical and organizational support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
• Communication: Serve as point of contact for internal and external communications. This includes handling correspondence (email/mail), greeting visitors, answering phones calls, and taking messages.
• Document Management: Prepare reports and other documentation, ensuring accuracy in data entry and timely delivery. Maintain paper and electronic filing systems, ensuring documents are properly filed, scanned, and organized.
• Office Management: Maintain office supplies and equipment to ensure smooth efficient daily operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with staff and clients. Adaptability is essential. In a small business, each of us wears many hats.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Have superior punctuality and attendance, a disciplined work ethic, and a positive attitude.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with office equipment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• This is a FULL-TIME office position, Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:30pm., Fridays 7:30am to 11:30am
• Infrequent overtime may be required during peak periods.
• This position is located at our headquarters in STEVENSVILLE, MARYLAND. Remote work is not available.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
• Education: An associate's degree in a related field is preferred but relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience: Prior administrative experience is beneficial, particularly in a fast-paced office environment.
