Job description*:

#Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and manage 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

• Prepare accurate layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.

• Work with engineers to interpret sketches, specifications, and design requirements.

• Manage file handling (New, Qnew, Open, Save, Save As, Close, Exit, Quit).

• Ensure drawing accuracy using units, limits, snapping systems, polar tracking, and object snaps.

• Apply all major drawing tools: Line, Circle, Arc, Ellipse, Donut, Polygon, Rectangle, Points, etc.

• Execute all modify operations: Trim, Extend, Move, Copy, Rotate, Mirror, Array, Scale, Stretch, Break, Join, Fillet, Chamfer, Blend Curves.

• Work with polylines, splines, rays, xlines, and revision clouds.

• Maintain clean and structured drawings using layers, line types, line weights, and properties.

• Create and manage blocks, dynamic blocks, design center items, and tool palettes.

• Work with attributes, attribute definitions, editing, and attribute management.

• Produce accurate dimensions (linear, aligned, angular, radius, diameter, baseline, continuous).

• Use leaders, multileaders, multileader styles, and annotation tools.

• Prepare tables, text styles, Mtext, and scaling annotations.

• Perform divide and measure operations using points and blocks.

• Generate high quality printed/plot outputs using model and layout spaces, plot styles, and proper paper settings.

• Use etransmit and publish tools for drawing packaging.

• Adding images, architectural symbols (signs), electrical signs, furniture blocks, or custom logos into AutoCAD drawing.

Required Technical Skills

• AutoCAD Expertise

• Proficiency in:

• GUI, workspaces, coordinate systems

• Zoom, Pan, Regenerate, Clean Screen, View Controls

• Drafting settings (Snap, Grid, Polar Tracking, Object Snap, 3D Object Snap, Dynamic Input)

• Complete set of drawing and modify commands

• Layer management and layer status manager

• Dimension style manager, dimension editing, association, jog lines

• Multiline, polyline, spline, xline, ray, revision cloud

#Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Architecture (or similar).
