The Systems Administrator provides enterprise IT and network infrastructure support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC). This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and performance of Government information systems supporting mission-critical Navy operations. The Systems Administrator ensures the reliability, availability, and security of systems across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments.
Network Infrastructure
The Systems Administrator shall demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Administer and maintain NSWC IT systems and network infrastructure
Monitor system performance, availability, and security
Implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes
Support troubleshooting and incident resolution
Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and NSWC IT security requirements
Support virtualization and cloud-based system environments
Coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams Requirements
Four (4) years of system management experience
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise IT systems in a DoD, Navy, or Federal environment
Experience administering both server and client operating systems Security Clearance Requirements
Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
