Client in the nonprofit construction and housing development space is seeking a Construction Accounting Specialist to assist with project invoicing, contractor documentation, and tracking construction-related financial activity across multiple projects. Salary is $40-$46k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

The Construction Accounting Specialist will process and code invoices, track accruals, and maintain project financial records

The Construction Accounting Specialist will support contractor documentation including compliance verifications and subcontractor records

Maintain project information in construction management software and update project cost tracking spreadsheets

Assist with contract documentation, project setup, and general administrative support for construction operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Experience with invoicing, reconciliations, or accounting support functions

Intermediate Excel skills and comfort working within financial or project tracking systems

Experience in construction administration or construction accounting is a plus

Experience with construction management or ERP systems such as Procore or Sage is a plus

Salary is $40-$46k, DOE
