Description:

Role: Power Platform Software Developer

Duration: Long Term

Work location: St Paul, MN

Responsibilities:

Develop software with Power Platform on Azure Government Cloud as the primary infrastructure.

Contribute to architecture and design discussions and decisions with business partners, business analysts, and project management.

Configure data gateway(s) to write and retrieve data between any Power Platform components and an Azure Managed MS SQL database and/or Azure BLOB / File Storage

Coordinate with Power Platform administrators to set up user authentication for Power Platform and Office 365 components using Azure Active Directory.

Participate on an agile-minded development team with State staff to design, code, test, deploy, and train staff.

Assist with product backlog refinement, story development, and story sizing/estimating.

Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

Build user interface(s) with Power Apps and/or Power Pages.

Perform knowledge sharing/transfer.

Write or supply product technical architecture documentation. Minimum Required Experience:

Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps, model-driven and canvas apps.

Experience in other Power Platform components like Power Automate and Power Pages.

Experience using product/agile frameworks and methodologies.

Experience in managing a dataset with various data sources, formats, and structures.

Experience developing Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards.

Tableau or other visualization experience may substitute.

Experience using people-centric UX design and best practices in product development.

Experience designing a seamless user experience across devices.

Experience designing a seamless user experience for multilingual support.

Experience making applications ADA accessible to meet WCAG 2.1 standards.

Experience developing automated build/deployment processes with a DevOps mindset
