Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant

Assist with oversight of donor-restricted funds from private donors

Pull and review reports

Update and maintain data

Handle deposits

Prepare journal entries

Serve as backup for processing check runs

Required Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

2+ years of accounting experience beyond purely transactional work

Strong Excel skills, including formulas and formatting

Preferred Experience

Blackbaud

Microsoft Teams
