Role: Salesforce Architect
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC), including configuration, customization, implementation, and third-party integrations. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that support business processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Lightning Aura Components, APEX programming, and Force.com APIs.
Responsibilities:
Work with business teams to understand processes and translate needs into actionable Salesforce requirements for configuration and development
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including kickoff, requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support
Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions
Design and develop customized reports and dashboards
Manage user testing activities including test plans and test case creation
Create and maintain documentation for processes, policies, configurations, and user guides
Follow Salesforce best practices for release management and deployment across sandboxes and production
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Force.com platform
Design Salesforce reporting using Conga
Build and maintain workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows, and other Salesforce configurations
Develop and manage Salesforce Communities
Proactively identify system improvement opportunities
Communicate system changes to users prior to implementation
Create advanced custom reports, dashboards, and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests
Implement and troubleshoot third-party integrations
Collaborate with leadership to identify technologies and tools that improve operational efficiency and customer experience
Create project documentation including UI guides, training materials, and functional documentation
Perform unit testing and participate in user acceptance testing
Validate test cases and results against business requirements
Develop complex, macro-driven reports for senior management
Ensure reporting and configurations follow performance best practices as data volumes grow
Assist with migration from legacy systems and processes into Salesforce
Import data using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader
Log, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
Monitor and manage backend integration exception logs
Mentor and train State development resources
