About the Role:

• Serve as a project lead, delivering data-driven insights to support executive decision-making and long-term strategy for aging programs.

• Maintain and update internal- and external-facing dashboards, including the Long-Term Care Quality Navigator and the Internal Command Center.

• Analyze statewide program data related to Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and Older Americans Act (OAA) programs, including PASSPORT, PACE, and Assisted Living.

• Evaluate program performance, service utilization, and cost trends to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.

• Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data products using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau and business intelligence platforms.

• Collaborate with program areas, Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), and PASSPORT Administrative Agencies (PAAs) to understand business needs and deliver actionable analytics solutions.

• Support the development and maintenance of data systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and adherence to governance standards.

• Conduct program evaluation and performance measurement, including survey design, statistical analysis, and outcome reporting.

• Translate complex data into clear, concise narratives, visualizations, and presentations for a variety of audiences.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance program performance and data-driven decision-making.

• Provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise to support effective data collection, reporting, and policy development.

Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or data processing/computer science/information systems technology; 2 yrs. exp. or 2 yrs. trg. in which included responsibility for developing standards for new & existing data definition, product evaluation, recommending software selection, design & development of data bases to include security measures/controls & how data is to be accumulated maintained, archived & removed from system.
