Job Description:

Pharmacy Program Specialist assists the pharmacy management team by maintaining comprehensive medication accountability, surveillance and reporting programs for all applicable state and federal agencies. Under the direction of the regional controlled substance diversion prevention manager and/or the pharmacy leadership (where applicable), the Pharmacy Program Specialist provides oversight and direction for the daily operations of the Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Program.

Skills and Certifications

H.S. Diploma or GED

California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire

3 years' Recent hospital pharmacy experience

Bachelor's Degree preferred

PTCB Certificate Program in Controlled Substances Diversion Prevention

Broad hospital work experience base
