The Engineering team provides innovation and support for the various fiber cable families offered by company, including Premises, Indoor/Outdoor, and Outdoor Fiber cables.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical engineering curriculum (mechanical, electrical, etc.)

Experience working in the fiber optic cable manufacturing industry with the design and manufacturing of fiber ribbons and ribbon fiber cable.

5+ years of related experience.

Sound safety and quality principles.

Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products.

Creative, analytical technical problem-solver.

Ability to interface with Manufacturing personnel and coordinate development work in a manufacturing environment.

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance day-to-day activities with project activities.

Able to work independently and productively with little supervision.

Able to work in cross-functional teams.

Professional and assertive communication skills.

10% of travel within U.S.

Must-Haves:

Experience designing fiber ribbons and ribbon fiber cable

Five or more years of engineering design.

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Experience working in the fiber optic cable manufacturing industry.
