The Gas Compressor Mechanical Analysis group is responsible for structural integrity assessment of the entire gas compressor. An analyst in this group can expect to be involved in the evaluation and optimization of every aspect of gas compressor structural design, including pressure vessel integrity analysis, rotor/stator structural analysis, fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, thermal/mechanical interactions and resulting stress/displacements, tooling structural evaluation, among others.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 5 years structural analysis and failure mode evaluation experience

FEA experience, 2D/3D structural analysis

CAD experience, view/measure, de-featuring ability

Preferred Qualifications:

ANSYS Mechanical expertise:

Structural analysis

Thermal analysis

steady-state

transient/dynamic

Non-linear contact

Fatigue analysis experience, high/low cycle

Pressure Vessel theory and design experience

ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code experience

ASME Flange design experience

Linear fracture mechanics analysis experience

Gas compressor product knowledge

CFD and conjugate heat transfer experience

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary for this role ranges from $127,870.00, to $159,838.00. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
