Paint booth operator will operate or tend to powder paint booth to paint parts; operates supplemental manual spray guns.
Essential Functions
Required but not limited to:
• Monitors performance of both automatic and manual spray guns.
• Visually inspects painted parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintains proper mix of reclaimed to virgin powder paint by adding paint to hopper.
• Responsible for coordinating booth cleaning and set up for color change.
• Turns on and off automatic guns as needed.
• Paints all designated surfaces, using proper procedures for every part.
• Assists with cleaning and booth set up for color change.
• Assists in turning on and off automatic guns as needed.
• Adds paint to maintain optimum operation of equipment.
• Maintains a pristine work environment.
• Performs PMs as needed.
Work Environment
• May be subject to loud working environment.
• Exposure to powder paint.
• Must be able to safely occupy high voltage areas and/or areas with electromagnetic fields.
