Job Title: RN Clinical Educator/ Development Perioperative

Job Description:

Up to $15,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Summary:

Participates in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive network of educational programs and activities supporting Perioperative, in addition to general education needs for the facility. Assures the use of appropriate educational technology and adult learning methodology to increase knowledge, skills, and competencies.

This includes but is not limited to validating required educational needs and competencies for staff; developing training programs and processes; ensuring staff education records are maintained; and keeping facility leadership team informed of staff education needs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.

Certification within area of expertise or practice as available (Professional Development) within 6 months (180 days) of hire.

2 years of related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree
