Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Warwick, RI

Contract Weeks: 8 Weeks

Shft Timings: [1]7A-3:30P(30)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes to the RN or physician.

Assist patients with daily living activities (feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility).

Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.

Support physicians and RNs during examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Ensure a safe and clean patient care environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health maintenance.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized care planning.

Respond promptly to patient calls, emergencies, and critical situations.

Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

CPR/BLS certification (required).

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation (preferred).
