ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking an Assistant Email Developer to join their Digital Marketing Operations Center of Excellence. This team is dedicated to the daily production and deployment of digital marketing campaigns across site, app, email, and push channels. As an Assistant Email Developer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day building, execution, and quality assurance of email, push, and in-app message (IAM) campaigns, ensuring compliance with established processes and risk management protocols. You will collaborate closely with marketing strategy and design teams to produce, QA, and deploy digital marketing campaigns and site content, while also supporting the development and delivery of automated trigger campaigns and customer journeys. The ideal candidate is passionate about operational efficiency, maximizing channel capabilities, and delivering a seamless customer experience through digital marketing innovation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and execute email, push, and in-app message (IAM) campaigns, including some HTML coding
Partner daily with internal marketing strategy and design teams to quality assure, approve, and deploy digital marketing campaigns and site content
Ensure accurate and timely deployment of all digital marketing campaigns, adhering to defined processes and risk management protocols
Serve as an end-user expert for digital marketing platforms, providing guidance on digital channel capabilities and best practices
Support the building, editing, and delivery of automated trigger campaigns and customer journeys
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure campaign accuracy and compliance
Maximize channel capabilities and contribute to operational efficiency within the Digital Marketing Operations Center of Excellence WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, digital product, or technology with strong project management skills
Direct experience executing digital marketing campaigns on enterprise-level platforms (e.g., Cordial or similar)
Knowledge of HTML (preferably for email), experience with Smarty, and/or writing dynamic display logic
Experience building and executing email, push, and IAM campaigns
Keen attention to detail and proven track record implementing QA processes
Ability to partner with internal teams to QA, approve, and deploy campaigns
Strong understanding of digital marketing platform capabilities and a passion for maximizing their potential
Customer-centric mindset and a passion for digital marketing innovation
