Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start (deadline-driven)

Pay: $28–$33/hr (DOE) + OT + 401(k)

Top of range for proven Bluebeam speed + accuracy (finalists complete a short takeoff exercise).

Role Summary

We’re hiring a detail-driven Bluebeam Takeoff Estimator with strong Bluebeam Revu takeoff skills. This role is focused on plan review, quantity takeoffs, scope clarity, and fast revisions for projects involving roof decks over waterproofing / building envelope conditions. This position is primarily takeoffs + scope notes + revisions (not full commercial roofing bid estimating).

Most takeoffs involve rooftop conditions and constraints—details, transitions, drains, slopes, and access limitations—so accuracy, organization, and speed matter.

Key Responsibilities

Perform digital takeoffs in Bluebeam Revu (plans, details, addenda, revisions)

Interpret architectural drawings and details related to roof deck / waterproofing / building envelope interfaces.

Produce clear takeoff summaries with assumptions/exclusions and strong version control

Revise takeoffs quickly for addenda and scope changes and communicate what changed

Coordinate internally with sales/ops/fulfillment on constraints, lead times, and execution notes

Maintain organized estimating files (naming, revision tracking, “paper trail”)

Help improve estimating consistency using templates, assemblies, and checklists

Required Qualifications

Bluebeam Revu takeoff experience (required)

2+ years construction estimating or takeoff experience (roofing/waterproofing/building envelope preferred)

Strong plan-reading ability; comfortable with addenda and deadline-driven work

Strong Excel skills and professional email communication

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience estimating waterproofing, building envelope, roof deck systems, or similar scopes

Sage 50 / Peachtree experience strongly preferred (QuickBooks acceptable substitute)

Experience working with contractors/GCs, scope changes, and fast revisions

Work Environment

Fully remodeled offices located within our 25,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution center, plus an employee lunch room/break area.
