Job description*:

#Role summary:

This role owns the end to end quality loop for speech recognition in our voice controlled TV platform.

You will gather and curate speech data, build automated evaluation pipelines, and continuously measure and improve ASR accuracy (WER/CER) across multiple languages using Azure Speech to Text.

• Strong Python experience

• Experience working with speech or text data

• Familiarity with WER/CER computation

• Experience with Azure services (or equivalent cloud platforms)

• Comfort working with REST APIs and batch processing

• Data manipulation (pandas), automation, and scripting mindset

• Experience with Azure Speech to Text or GCP Chirp

• Audio processing libraries (e.g., Librosa)

• MLflow or similar experiment tracking

• Basic understanding of linguistic concepts (tokenization, normalization)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation
