Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end hospital project development (greenfield/brownfield projects)
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors
Ensure infrastructure aligns with clinical and operational requirements
2. Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local health authorities and statutory bodies
Oversee licensing, permits, and accreditation processes (e.g., National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), Joint Commission International (JCI))
Ensure adherence to biomedical waste, fire safety, and healthcare regulations
3. Clinical & Operational Setup
Coordinate procurement and installation of medical equipment
Collaborate with clinical leaders for department planning (OT, ICU, ER, etc.)
Oversee hospital information system (HIS) implementation
Plan manpower requirements in coordination with HR
4. Financial & Budget Management
Develop and manage project budgets
Monitor CAPEX and OPEX planning
Conduct cost analysis and financial feasibility studies
5. Stakeholder Management
Liaise with hospital management, investors, consultants, and government bodies
Provide regular project updates to leadership
Manage vendor contracts and negotiations
6. Risk & Quality Management
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure quality standards in construction, infrastructure, and operations
Establish SOPs for operational readiness
