DRCG seeks a Software Developer (SME) to provide services to the Department of Justice (DOJ) client supporting the technical consolidation across various classified components by providing continued support, development and department-wide deployment of Information Technology (IT) solutions/services at the classified level. The Software Developer (SME) will oversee the design and development of new software or enhancements to existing software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance complex software solutions.

Lead technical projects while ensuring high-quality and scalable code.

Coordinate technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Provides technical lead of development staff, along with peer level interaction with project managers and architects.

Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.

Agile methodologies should be used to the maximum extent possible.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must be a US citizen.

Top Secret/SCI

7+ Years of relevant experience

Good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.

Experience with multiple programming languages such as: Python, Java, C++, etc.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business.

Significant equivalent experience, training and/or certifications may be substituted in lieu of degree.
