ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assist with a variety of HR functions in a facility including recruitment, staffing, employee relations, payroll, training and recognition, benefit communications and employee recognition.
· Have a professional understanding of the HR discipline but limited authority to execute independently and operate under direct supervision.
· Process various HR materials including confidential forms and records such as employment, enrollment and maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
· Maintain current employee information, policy and procedure manuals and other communications and distribute as directed.
· Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
· Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resources information confidential.
· Gather information and prepare reports on various HR topics as needed.
· Manage processes connected with the onboarding of new employees, process terminations largely consisting of ensuring UltiPro data entry and communication to respective departments.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Associate’s degree required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
· Two or more year’s previous human resources office experience required.
