Assistant Head Housekeeper

Job Description

REPORTS TO: Head HousekeeperDRESS CODE: Uniform providedPHYSICAL:Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally. Must be able to inspect all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. Must be able to help out in an emergency situation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides team leadership by leading by example and helping out when needed.

Breaks out the house daily and assigns rooms to be cleaned.

Does room inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness.

Assists in regular deep cleaning projects.

Assists with training for new and current staff.

Maintains key control of all housekeeping keys.

Ensures all safety standards are met.

Assists with accurate lost and found log/storage

Ensures proper user of chemicals and all supplies as per OSHA standards

Cleans and assists with cleaning rooms

Wash, dry and fold laundry

Stock housekeeping closets
