Adecco has a great opportunity for a Forklift Operator position located in San Antonio, TX. Pay rates start at $17.00 p/hr.
WORKING HOURS:
2nd shift 2PM-10:30PM
SUMMARY: A Warehouse Associate will report to the Warehouse Manager. A warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to orders in the system. Duties include loading and unloading trucks and sea containers, organizing incoming stock, ensure all the orders are shipped in full. Must have experience with operating forklift including loading, unloading, and transporting materials safely and efficiently with hands-on experience maneuvering in warehouse and production settings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School or equivalent Experienced in Forklift Operation
Basic computer skills
Warehouse Experience
Able to lift 50LB.
Able to work in freezers with temps of 40-55 degrees F
Able to work alone and with a team
Proficient organizational and time-management skills
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Problem solver JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and track shipments
Flexible work schedule- possible weekend(s)
Load merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
Track and document exact shipment quantity, conditions, arrival, and departure times.
Report any missing or extra merchandise
Prepare all orders for shipment/Transfers
Record and manage all Hold, Aged, Damaged, etc. merchandise items
Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Performs other duties as may be assigned by management. What's in this for you?
