Position Summary

The role of the Shuttle Driver reports to the Safety and Security Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position will assist with transporting patients, visitors, and staff to various areas of the center.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients

Safely transport visitors, patients, and staff from parking lots to requested entrances

Maintain vehicles and report issues to leadership

Assist with maintenance of hospital grounds

Enforce applicable policies, as required

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED, required.

Licensure and Certifications: Driver's license and auto liability insurance, required.

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a security officer role, preferred.

Work Environment: This position will spend approximately 80% of the time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position will serve a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population. This position will be exposed to communicable disease and bodily fluids.
