Job Title: Tower Technician 3

Location: Based in St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO, and Indianapolis, IN,

with travel throughout the Midwest.

Terms: Full-time

Hourly Range: $27-31/hour, depending on experience. R&S provides

lodging and daily per diem during travel.

R&S Towers, Inc. specializes in the construction and maintenance of wireless infrastructure and currently works in Missouri and neighboring states. This position requires frequent travel and working in various weather conditions for irregular hours. About the role: You will be climbing and working on communication towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, repairing, and troubleshooting wireless infrastructure. You will travel extensively throughout the Midwest, most often leaving Monday and returning Friday. You will perform work in all types of weather both individually and as a team member, while diligently following safety procedures. Level 3 Technicians will assist the foreman in leading and training those less experienced.

Responsibilities: Comprehend construction drawings (CDs) and Radio

Frequency Data Sheets (RFDS).

Understand rigging plans and competency in rigging.

Possess a fundamental understanding of radio

frequency and fiber troubleshooting.

Mastery of carriers’ quality standards.

Ability to remove and reattach tower appurtenances,

i.e. booms, antenna mounts, and platforms.

Effectively train and lead Tech 1s and 2s.

Own the successful completion of the tower top build.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Extensive experience working on various telecom

carrier sites.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Completion of various safety trainings.

Pass an initial physical and drug screen/random

future screens.

Ability to travel regularly and occasionally work

weekends.

Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

Strong sense of pride-in-work and consistent

workmanship.

Be versatile, flexible, and willing to work in

changing conditions and situations with enthusiasm.
