Job Title: Tower Technician 2

Location: Based in St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO, or Indianapolis, IN, with

travel throughout the Midwest.

Terms: Full-time

Hourly Range: $23-26/hour, depending on experience. R&S provides

lodging and daily per diem during travel.

R&S Towers, Inc. specializes in the construction and maintenance of wireless infrastructure and currently works in Missouri and neighboring states. This position requires frequent travel and working in various weather conditions for irregular hours. About the role: You will be climbing and working on communication towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, repairing, and troubleshooting wireless infrastructure. You will travel extensively throughout the Midwest, most often leaving Monday and returning Friday. You will perform work in all types of weather both individually and as a team member, while diligently following safety procedures. A Level 2 Technician will train and provide support to less experienced crew members.

Responsibilities: Be comfortable climbing and working at heights

Possess knowledge of basic hand tools and be able to

use them.

Understand build sequence from start to finish, and

anticipate the next step.

Be motivated to learn and follow detailed instructions.

Initiate job tasks independently.

Be prepared to mentor those less experienced.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of telecom and climbing experience.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.

Completion of various safety trainings

Pass initial physical and drug screen, and random future

screens.

Have a basic familiarity with Construction Drawings (CDs) and

Radio Frequency Data Sheets (RFDS).

Able to travel regularly and occasionally work weekends.

Follow directions well and learn quickly.

Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

Possess a building sense of pride-in-work and demonstrated

workmanship.

Be versatile, flexible, and willing to work in changing

conditions and situations with enthusiasm.
