Job Responsibilities

As a School Bus Driver, you will:

Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes

Transport students to and from school and school-related activities

Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintain bus cleanliness and monitor fuel levels

Enforce student safety rules consistently and fairly

Report mechanical concerns and incidents to dispatch and maintenance

Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff

Attend safety meetings and ongoing training

Comply with all DOT, Wisconsin state, and company safety regulations

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older

Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years

High school diploma or GED

Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with S and P endorsements (training provided)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to sit for extended periods

Comfortable working in various weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical job requirements
